Hello and welcome! Let me introduce myself. My name is Iris, and I am 18 years old. I live in the USA on a small farm with my parents and numerous siblings. I'm that girl you see walking down the street in a skirt which people label Amish, Mennonite, or part of a cult or sect. No, no, and most defiantly no. I just so happens to value modesty, and possess a very strong sense of style. I would describe my style on a good day as inspired by the 1940-50's, with a bit of everything else mixed in. I am planning on posting hints and ideas on how to add that touch of Yesteryear into your wardrobe without spending $40 per item of clothing.
I am a passionate lover of everything and anything old, beautiful and romantic. My favorite books are Anne of Green Gables, Rilla of Ingleside, the Lord of the Rings, and anything by Charles Dickens. I LOVE a good period drama. One of my goals with this blog is to help other people find good quality books and movies to enjoy. I am a Traditional Catholic, so you be assured that any review will include a warning of anything inappropriate for anyone like me who desperately searches for content review before daring to watch unknown period dramas.
